Mikki Moore signs with Warriors. Finally he is back.

Haven’t we all just been waiting for Mikki Moore to get back in the league?

Well, it’s finally happened. With David Lee down for the season and Andris Biedrins out with a concussion the Warriors have added Moore through the end of the regular season, reports Matt Steimnetz at CSNBayArea.com. (We shouldn’t make fun of Moore, who was a reasonable NBA backup for stretches of his dozen years in the league.)

Moore played for the Warriors in 2009-10 but spent this past season with the Idaho Stampede of the D-League. So, he should have some Antoine Walker stories. Golden State has the 9th worst record in the NBA but only get to keep they pick in this draft if they have one of the seven worst records, so you can guess what their goal is from here on out.

    What is this, like the 20th center they’ve added through the course of the season?

    Warriors have been tanking for about a month, it became official once a few other teams reached the 22 win mark. GSW smells the #7 pick or better in reach. You want to win some Money, be against the Warriors for the remainder of the season.

      You would think so, but they do pretty well ATS (against the spread). Straight up though, yeah. But there’s no money in that.

    MM was a stiff on the Celtics a couple years ago…. Good luck with that signing.

    the warriors only keep their pick if they are in the top 7 in the lottery. they can have the 7th worst record and still not have a pick due to the lottery. this is the second time uve done this today and the the time before that when u mentioned the warriors tanking you said they needed a top 3 pick to keep it. i know you dont like the warriors but please at least spend a few minutes checking ur facts before u write a mindless article

      Bingo! Like I said before in a previous comment like about a month ago, I’ve learned to handle the abundance of grammatical errors, we’re all human. But it’s the factual errors that burn me up to no end. It’s like the readers of this site have more knowledge then the actual paid writers.

    @david0303

    exactly what i was thinking. the warriors are currently tied with detroit, new jersey, and toronto for 7th worst record in nba but the only thing that determines is how many ping pong balls they will get. whether the warriors lose or keep their pick is decided by lottery order. they must be in top 7 after the lottery to keep the pick. not a difficult thing to understand but for some reason these guys cant wrap their minds around it. i have seen them post the same wrong info at least 5 times.
