Kobe Bryant

From ESPN Los Angeles’ Dave McMenamin:

SAN ANTONIO — The condition of Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant‘s inflamed left shin continues to improve, but Bryant will sit out his third consecutive game Wednesday against the San Antonio Spurs, Lakers coach Mike Brown said.

McMenamin reported that Bryant is no longer in a walking boot, and will have had a full week to rest his shin if he chooses to suit up for the Lakers’ next scheduled game against the Nuggets on Friday.

Bryant has averaged 28.1 points per game on 43.0% shooting this season. The Lakers have gone 1-1 in the two games Kobe has missed.

Good riddance… Don’t ever come back Kobe the NBA is a better place without you!

Sucks for managers who started Kobe in fantasy basketball, but you might win field goal percentage now.

Haha Keyshawn your just jealous you don’t have Kobe on your team

Just rest all of the “aging” starters most of the way, especially the injured. Either way you look at it. You are playing the Spurs and/or Thunder whether it be in the 1st round or later. Just make sure everyone is healthy and take the losses during the regular season. This isn’t the NFL; seeding isn’t that big of a deal, no bye weeks in the NBA.

@Keyshawn: Your a dumbass. Kobe is a legend your saying good riddance. You need to never look at or pick up a basketball again.

If there’s no Kobe tonight then it won’t be worth watching the game as the Lakers without Kobe just aren’t going to beat the hot Spurs. I sure hope Kobe gets back real soon as we Laker fans want to see the team hang on to it’s third seed for the playoffs and not allow the Clippers to win the Pacific Division. Heal Quick Kobe!
