Doc Rivers’ best finish without Thibs is him losing in the Conference Semi-Finals last season, while Thibs’ top finish without Rivers is losing in the Conference FINALS. In fact, take away the three seasons that Thibs was Rivers’ assistant and Rivers either misses the playoffs or loses in the First Round every other years except last season.

Top 3 coach in the NBA. That’s a laugh. More like Top 3 coach that fell into a good situation like the one that he fell into when Boston traded for KG and Allen to team up wiht Pierce and when Thibs (an assistant with 15 straight seasons where his defense ranked in the top 5) agreed to be his assistant coach.

Rivers will be watching as Thibs wins multiple titles in Chicago. Count on it.
