Cousins fined $25,000 for saying officials love Blake Griffin

Apr 6, 2012, 6:27 PM EDT

DeMarcus Cousins, Derrick Favors AP

Everyone, including DeMarcus Cousins, should have known this was coming.

Cousins criticized the officials, saying they and the league plays favorites with Griffin, and the league doesn’t like it when players suggest the league plays favorites. Of course we all know that doesn’t happen (*cough*).

Cousins was fined $25,000 by the league for his comments ciriticising officicals.

He said that the league “babies” Griffin because he sells tickets. Griffin does get away with fouls.

The Kings and Clippers play again Saturday night. That should be entertaining.

That picture makes Demarcus look like he felt something go squish in his shorts….

Another one of those crybaby NBA players–when you foul out, blame someone else. Grow up, Demarcus.

An unlikeable player, but willing to say something we are all thinking. Brilliant.

we should be able to fine David Stern for looking like a human prick. seriously. all wrinkly and stuff, with all that scrotum-like flesh hanging off his neck.

If Cousins didn’t act like the biggest tool of all time on the court he might get some of those calls to. That eye poking foul is a little ridiculous though, how Griffin looks up at the ref and basically tells him he got fouled, and then the ref called the foul.

Bulls fans remember what that’s like:

Blake, albeit a very good player, does get away with “stuff”. He mugged Pau on that facial the other night and no offensive foul was called!! Cousins needs to stop crying and maybe one day he’ll start getting the star treatment on calls. Right now he’s not a star.

    Maybe I’ll buy a Kia.
