The Maloof’s are making it clear that they don’t want to be in Sactown, and who can blame them? Spend money to stay in Sacramento, or take money from Anaheim to relocate their. UNFORTUNATELY they should have thought about that before standing at center court with Kevin Johnson with their arms raised, celebrating a done deal.

I agree, George Maloof Sr. is rolling in his grave at the antics and careless spending of his prodigy. They really dont want to stay in Sac. or they would have spent the money on anew arena instead of a casino long ago. They balked at coming up with money years ago, then spent billions on a casino that they havent seen a profit from yet. The Maloofs are just not the business man their father was.

It seem odd, but it appears to me the boys may be broke or having some other financial problems. I loved the Kings throughout the bad 90′s with Luckenbill and Thomas ownership, the Maloofs were a God send. Since I left Sacto in 2004, the franchise has eroded. They need some fresh ownership that doesn’t have financial issues.

this is the Maloofs having a change of mind about staying in Sacramento and looking for the “legal”way out so they can move to Anaheim(sorry Seattle).As much as they’ve committed to investing in this new arena they are going to balk at 3.25 million?Horse manure,they want a reason to relocate and are now doing all they can to make this deal fall through so they can go to the larger market and make more money of the larger market tv revenue.Remember the Lakers time Warner deal starts next year leaving Fox Sports West with some empty time slots.Plug in the Anaheim Royals and the Maloofs have more revenue then they ever saw in Sacramento.I hope the commish Der Fuhrer Stern(yes I see the irony) sees this and “encourages”the Maloofs to either just suck it up and do it or to sell them to an owner committed to keeping them in Sacramento.Las Vegas knows all about the Maloofs and their party boy spend careless lifestyle.Theres a reason they no longer own the Palms…
