Dennis Rodman was one of the BEST REBOUNDERS/DEFENSIVE players the leagues has ever seen all at 6’7″ 210lbs. Charles Barkley all the same, with an average of 11.7RPG all to go with 22.1PPG, all while being 6’6″ 252lbs, and a ton of folks believe that Charles was only 6’4″. Point is who cares about size! Kevin Love is proving that hard work can make you a better basketball player, and put you in MVP category. I think Sully has a damn good chance to succeed in the NBA, if he works at it. For all those who don’t believe I guess we’ll have to wait and see.

It does look like love is about an inch taller, maybe a little more. The difference between 6-10 and 6-8 is hard to notice with shoes on (especially with the heel lift variation in so many shoes) and with presumably a photographer who is considerably shorter than the pair.

So either Williams is actually 6’10″ (unlikely that his listed height would be shorter), or Love is 6’10″ WITH shoes on.

He is a classic tweener who has shown he can’t play against size as he struggled against kansas and michigan state the only 2 teams ohio state really played this year with size and he struggled against kentucky last year. In the NBA for size not to be an issue for him he will have to play small forward but he doesn’t have the speed to stay with those guys and at PF or C in the NBA he will be matched up with guys his size and bigger. I love Sullinger and the Buckeyes but I think he is going to be a bust in the NBA.

I’ve been told that his listing at 6ft 9 is generous and he’s closer to 6ft 7. On top of that he can’t get a shot over a bigger defender and he’s not going to be able to throw his weight around in the NBA.

A 6ft 7 power forward can be a beast in the NBA (Brand, Blair, Booker (don’t laugh), etc…) but you have to be a superior athlete at that height. The guys I mentioned all have huge verticals and are very muscular. That’s not a coincidence.
