I wonder if he declared for the draft out of desperation?

Maybe the cause of this disqualification was severe enough for him to think he can’t return to Syracuse (for a reasonable portion of the season) next year?

according to ESPN, he averaged 7.8 PPG on 56% shooting, 5.8 RPG, and 2.9 BPG in 25.4 MPG. Same stats at sports-reference.com

Fab will be robbing convenience stores within 16 months…he is not NBA caliber and like the others said, you inflated his stats X 2. If he played in the A-10, he might get 12 and 10, but not BE. He will go undrafted.

Ya 15 and 11? I am confused as to where this number comes from. 15 and 11 in college is absolutely beasting. Melo was a huge factor on defense but his offensive game still needs to improve. Wish he stayed but school does not seem like his thing.

You may want to check your stats – no way he averaged 15 & 11 – I believe he was around 8 and 8……..it was one of the lowest averages to lead the team in rebounding in the school’s history I believe.

No big shocker that Fab Melo is going to the draft. No big shocker that he was declared ineligible for the tourney. One-and-done’s aren’t known for their academics lol
