The guy’s nephew got shot. He deserves nothing but our sympathy at this point.

No one in this thread knows anything at all about Wade’s family situation. All the people accusing Wade of “abandoning his family” are quite frankly talking out of their @sses.

If you can’t be nice enough to wish him and his family well and leave it at that, you shouldn’t post at all.

Everyone has their own way to coping with bad events in their life. Playing with passion was Wade’s way of coping. Lots of athletes play with their families in mind when tragedy strikes.

Violent crimes can happen in anywhere, USA at anytime. It doesn’t just happen in the “hood”. The Trayvon shooting wasn’t the hood. Zimmerman is Hispanic adopted by a white family by the way……Self defense?? Who’s the one with the gun that approached the other after the police dispatcher told Zimmerman to wait for the police and not approach the “hooded” subject. I’d defend myself if someone was following me and approached me late at night. The Ignorance by some of you is sad.

That is the problem. We are talking about human beings. People remember you by how you treat the young, the old, the poor, and the sick. You may not be poor, but you were young once, you will be sick at some time, and god willing you will be old eventually. I hope you have enough people to care for you when you need the help. It is 2012 people get real. I hate the Heat and Wade but they are right to want justice over the TM killing. The guy used a racial term after the cops told him not to do anything, that the police are on there way. You don’t shoot the kid. That guy is a racist and should be punished to the full extent of the law. He gives us non racist white people a bad name. I hope he spends the nest 25-50 years in prison.

As far as Wade’s nephew all I can say is that sucks. Crime is usually out of desperation, and poverty. It is just sad what some people have to go through. Doesn’t make what happened right, but it does make one wonder why. Some of you question why he even lives there, but you only assume. You don’t know what kind of living situation he has or anything. Wade could have offered to move the entire family. We don’t know. They maybe wanted to stay in the city near their family and friends.
