Video: Lakers pay tribute to Derek Fisher

Mar 29, 2012, 11:00 PM EDT

Derek Fisher returned to Staples Center Thursday night, his first time back since being traded away two weeks ago to the day. After both teams were introduced and just before tip-off, the Lakers honored him with this video tribute, and the fans immediately jumped to their feet and responded with a loud, long standing ovation.

Fisher’s impact in Oklahoma City has yet to be determined, but he’s already missed dearly in Los Angeles.

Fisher was traded to the Thunder, huh?…
Why is it only at PBT you have people who read the post are more informed then the actual authors of said post? I have learned to live with the everyday grammatical errors but one thing that burns me to no end is factual errors.

“Then why do you still keep coming back here, man!? Go to NBA.com or something, blah blah blah…”

There, I did it for you.

well…i just see it as “cutting to the chase”…in effect, he was traded…and eventually landed with the thunder. he never put on a rockets’ uniform…so lets skip the semantics. we’re better than that guys…i knew (and everyone else) knew what the headline/article was really saying…it’s no biggie guys.

about the article, i’m glad laker nation paid tribute to DFish. it was a beautiful, well deserved gesture.
