Anyone remotely familiar with basketball knows KG is one of the great players. NBA champion, NBA MVP, 14-time all star and all star MVP, Garnett at 35 and in his 17th NBA year, posted his 16th double-double of this shortened season last night, and seems to be achieving new milestones every game (e.g. 18th on all time scoring list; joined only 2 other players - Jabar and I think Baylor- to reach 20k points, 10k boards, & 5k assists. But KG is the only player in NBA history to add 1500 steals & 1500 blocks to that total). With that success, there would be little objection, if we are honest, to his "intimidation" if he were playing for our team. And bearsandjazz might have given the wrong impression if you think Big Al was an innocent bystander in the wrangling with KG in last night's game.

So, jagwar73, if there is a "punk" in this discussion, that would have to be the person who actually wants a player or anyone to be seriously injured. You, jagwar73, are the punk. Let's just hope you're at least still young enough to mature.

KG is a punk! He's always been one. He loves to intimidate. Can't wait until one of the bigger 4s or 5s breaks this guys nose and he has to wear one of those masks. Hopefully he'll play for several more years though. Gonna be fun watching those skills deteriorate.

I used to respect KG but these past few years he's come off as a real jerk. You probably love him if you're a Boston fan but his antics grew old on me. Still a great player though

You know what’s sad about this story? Kurt Neglected to mention at all the dirty play that Garnett exhibited last night, I have always repected Garnett but last night changed my perception of him. Being competitive and wanting to prove people wrong about your age and abilities is fine but dont play dirty. He threw and obvious intentional elbow at Jefferson that didnt get called and moments later with Jefferson standing waiting for the Celtics to shoot a free throw Garnett walked intentionally bumping into jefferson chest and face with his shoulder. with all the court space to navigate Garnett intentionally bumped into Jefferson and again received no foul our Technical. Im sure you all will defend him but if you watched the game you would see it was dirty and not just an agreesive veteran playing hard.
