If he’s declining so much why do the Celtics still want him? No he’s not the KG from 5 years ago but you can’t tell me he can’t help put a good team over the top. He has no true allegiance to Boston, why would he stay there and lose for his last couple of years? The Celtics are no longer title contenders and KG knows it! Even if doesn’t go to the LAKERS, he won’t be in Boston next season.

He’s gonna look good in the PURP AND GOLD. KG has made 300 mill, at this point he only wants another ring. He has a home in Cali, and he’s close with Kobe. The LAKERS will dump Metta and do whatever else to fit him in. Don’t be shocked if it happens. Why would he stay on Boston’s sinking ship?! KG will want to play for a contender.

Is this a joke post? Why would Garnett go to New Jersey? Please, explain this to me. Also, Laker fans? Are you retarded? You really think KG would go there now? Delusional in here tonight. He is either playing for Boston or retiring. Betting money says he signs a deal in Boston- 2years, 20 mil. Ray will get 2 years, 18 mil, Celts will hunt desperately for a guy to put in the other max contract spot. Josh Smith is the top candidate, Celts have 2 1st rders and pieces to trade and he has made it clear he wants out of Atlanta, he is buddies w/Rondo and already said he would love to play on Boston. Also, he adds athleticism that they sorely need. THAT makes sense.

Well this only happens if you think Garnett signs for the mini-midlevel, because the C’s aren’t signing and trading him to the Lakers. So…not happening. Garnett’s old, but he’s still worth more than mini-midlevel money.

Yeah right and when the other team fast breaks who would defend?? Non of them run the court. The lane would be clogged no room for anyone. Bad move, not to mention the cost involved. Ideally the Lakers need a lock down defender, rebounder, and shooter on the wing. The would help to open up the middle so Kobe, Bynum and Gasol can operate.

I know that they have given up a lot banking on this offseason, but sometimes you have to cut your losses. Even if Deron sticks around, overpaying Kevin Garnett is not the answer.

Ilyasova is going to get paid and stop working. At the end of his contract all of a sudden he’s a top free agent target and working his butt off. I’ve seen this before I think, this has overpriced signing all over it. Good luck signing or trading for Dwight without cap space.
