Wow. This “article” exemplifies almost everything that’s wrong with “journalism” today. You (Helin) basically just wrote “Larry King tweeted ______ .” You didn’t add any new information, give any more insight, use any of your sports “knowledge” to inform the reader.

That was the equivalent of what someone would say to me waiting in line too-long at the bank.
“Hey, d’you hear what Larry King said?”
“No.”
“He said Dwight Howard nixed his own trade.”
“Oh. So? What makes him an expert on sports?”
“I don’t know. Just sayin’…”

You just wrote an article comprised of small-talk. Disgraceful.

Coincidentally, CNN (King’s employer) reports the same way. “Ten died in massive train wreck – let’s see what tweeters are saying!” No, how about you – a supposedly trained journalist / analyst – actually gathering some information – you know, your JOB, and saying something of import.
