What is it about New Orleans that they get all the best celebrity introductions?

A few weeks ago it was Will Ferrell. Now on Thursday night when Chris Paul and the Clippers come to New Orleans it will be Samuel L. Jackson, reports the Times-Picayune.

The Oscar-nominated actor, in town to shoot Quentin Tarantino’s “Django Unchained,” is scheduled to introduce the team before it takes the court against the Los Angeles Clippers, a game that will mark the return of former Hornets star Chris Paul to The Hive.

What would make this better? Using this as the introduction for Jarrett Jack:

“And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy My brothers. And you will know My name is the Lord when I lay My vengeance upon thee.”

Assuming you do your own headlines, I’m pretty sure you mean Clippers/Hornets. Clippers, Hornets suggests two separate games. And sorry to be nitpicky, but if you’re reduced to writing about pre-game intros, playing grammar cop moves higher on the list.
