Dunks are cool. Period. I tend to think I have a vague knowledge of the game, despite ESPN's best attempts to corrupt my innocence by showing highlights that are not boring. To loosely and poorly paraphrase the Joker from the popular Batman film saga, why does everything have to be so serious?

it was great to see CP3 FINALLY take some initiative for the 1st time in the last 12 games. Looking at this game, this is how the Clips are gonna have to finish out games. CP3 needs to take over.

While I agree they should shoot better, you could never write it into a contract. Free agents would never sign with you. Even if you tried it with rookies, the players' union would put a quick stop to that.

You're right that Blake's game depends upon athleticism, but he has one other thing going for him. Something Carter never had. MOTOR. Blake works extremely hard on his game. Sure, once the athleticism goes he won't be the same player--and he also doesn't have the wingspan that has helped someone like KG age fairly gracefully. But he'll still be an effective player in his late 20's and early 30s because he will have accumulated a lot of SKILL due to the work that he puts in.

He needs a lot more work on the mid-range jump. I said this before this guy is Vince Carter 2.0. Once his legs get a little age on them his game is done.

Hubie Brown says it all the time, it's "the hidden way to score points."

I can't believe all of these talented big men, don't spend more time on their free throws. I remember the early 90's when someone shooting less than 60% free throws was unheard of. Shaq used to shoot 65% in his early years, but it just got less and less over the years because coaches let it happen.

Nobody in the NBA should have an excuse to shoot less than 70% from the free throw line. If I were an owner, I would write it into a contract, then the players would try quite a bit more.

What's with all the hate? The guy isn't so one dimensional anymore. He's a great rebounder. He's also worked a lot on his post moves an that midrange jumper. This is his second year and he averaged like 23 and 9 last year?

Another video of another on dimensional player with another mediocre team.
This appeals to the video game generation that knows very little about the game and were raised on nothing but ESPN highlights.
