You guys are dreaming if you think that taking Lin out of the lineup for Baron Davis and trying to win with Anthony and Stoudamire will work. You need a basketball each for Davis and Anthony, Stoudamire can play in any system. Baron Davis had great players around him at GS and could not win. And the Knicks will go nowhere until Anthony learns to play team defense and commit to playing individual defense. If George Karl couldn’t take a CA led team anywhere with the supporting players he had around him at Denver, I don’t think Woodson can do any better. And his brand of one on one isolation basketball is boring, stupid, and ultimately useless once the playoffs begin. Didn’t anybody learn anything from watching Phil Jackson win championships with Chicago and LA? Jeremy Lin makes everyone around him better when he’s on the court. Carmelo Anthony makes everyone worse.
