Deron Williams is a whining crybaby who is never happy. He was a jerk at Utah and a real shame that he caused coach Jerry Sloan to retire prematurely in disgust with Deron’s childish, selfish whines. Deron doesn’t deserve to be in the NBA and deriding Deron should be the only way he’s treated by NBA fans. It’s way past time to stop mollycoddling these whining prima donnas whose only loyalty is to themselves instead of their teams and fans.

I suggest you hang out around Prospect Park in Brooklyn then head over to anything North of 110th St on either side of the park in Manhattan.

It was overhyped from the beginning because there IS no glamor to make these players feel like royalties!!!

That’s why Chicago got Boozer, the Nets got … ahem, Travis Outlaw, and the Clippers got CP3, the Heat got Bosh and Lebron, the Knicks (the more glamorous team) got Amare, Carmelo, and Tyson Chandler!!!

Smiz I said that in another post as well. That is the scenario I think to be most likely. Dwight Howard wants to play with D-Will and vice versa. The trade didn’t happen and Howard agreed to stay because there was no way to get him to the Nets. Howard couldn’t risk getting sent to Kobe’s Lakers so he agreed to stay in Orlando.

Here comes act 2 Howard is going to make sure Deron Williams gets to Orlando this summer. If it doesn’t happen and Williams has to go somewhere else it’s a safe bet to take Howard demands a trade to whatever team that is.

They will be playing together somewhere real soon I bet on Orlando.

wow if he wound up somehow going to the magic that would be hilarious…it would suck for the nets but be hilarious for everyone else…you saw this coming a mile away though and the nets should have had a backup plan to unload him if they couldn’t get howard…now they’ll lose williams wallace and what will probably be a top 7 pick in one of the deepest drafts in awhile…total fail

Dallas is not a foregone conclusion for D-Will. One look at the Knicks tells you that you need more than two all-stars and a bunch of throw-ins to win. Dallas will have a 34 year old Dirk and little else. Oh yeah, Lamar Odom and Marion. That will get you past OKC? You would have a small window for a title then re-building in 2 years. Orlando? For what, the MLE? They are like $10 mil over the cap. They would have to trade Davis, Turkgolu, Redick and on and on to get $15 mil UNDER the cap. The only way he goes there is a sign and trade with Nets, probably not going to happen without 3 or 4 teams involved. There will be teams with cap space but no sure things. Dallas and Brooklyn are 50/50. Deron likes NY, King and Avery. He has a very good YOUNG center, a YOUNG wing with tons of potential a top shooter and LOADS of cap space. Stranger things than D-Will re-signing with the Nets have happened. Kidd was gone to San Antonio, wrong! Carter was never going to sign, wrong! And Nets will have Houston pick in draft, probably 15-18. Not a top 5, but not awful in this draft. And who knows, maybe Stern throws them a bone!
