Good trade for both teams. And also, the Cavs actually have a chance to make the playoffs this year (only 2gms out)… The Lakers now have a good PG in Sessions and will improve so much with this trade.

2:59 pm: The Lakers traded Derek Fisher. Didn’t expect that. To the Rockets for Jordan Hill. The Lakers also sent off their other first round pick in the deal. Not a big thing on the court, but that is going to tick off Kobe Bryant.

This is a good trade for both teams.
The Cavs get an expendable pricey contract (They have the cap room so who cares) and Jason Kapono (another throw-in).

This deal was all about Sessions and the pick. The Cavs needed the pick badly and the Lakers needed Sessions. I hope the best for Sessions and the Lakers, he will be missed.
Hopefully they bow out early in the playoffs though so that pick is just a little higher

Sessions is the best PG not starting in the league, and the only reason he isn’t starting is becuase Kyrie is a boss.

Steve Blake has been a good facilitator after the all star break but he’s not aggressive enough to slash and drive, but he will hit those threes. But Ramon is what we needed, a scoring pg that can pop to the bigs and play that high to low game. Now we need beasly and our bench scoring will go up.

This is huge for the Lakers. No one can compete with our bigs out west and now we improved our PG position. Anything short of a western conference final appearence will be sad. Why? because no on in the west has our bigs. I look through the West and I see OKC and the Lakers as top dogs.

I don’t know what I’m more happy about, getting the best PG since the days of Nick Van Exel or getting rid of Luke Walton and his mind-baffling contract!!! I’m bummed to have to give up our own 1st rd’er, but whatever. Now hopefully Beasley’s next with that useless Dallas 1st and Steve Flake and his almost equally baffling contract and we’re talking banner #17!!
