No GM is going to say anything is “close” unless it is basically a done deal. He said they are working the phones so I’d assume Nash and others (Gortat, Dudley) are out there for the right price.
Whether anyone ponies up enough, we’ll see. I don’t think they’d just dump salary though unless they move Nash also, would be disrespectful to him after he has willingly stuck around.
