I hope the Wolves don’t take on a contract for more than next season at most if/when the move Beasley, unless it were a guy you actually want for longer.

Well with the Rubio injury they moved Luke from SG to PG and have started Webster. I like the rumors with a Crawford deal much better. The Richardson deal kinda handcuffs them when FA arrives.

It’s crazy to see what Beasley is being given away for after being drafted #2 overall and actually hasn’t been a bust. Not what we all probably thought he would be, but definatly not a bust. MIA gives him up for a 2nd rounder, now MIN wants to discard him for an older J Rich on a 4 year/6+ per year contract!? Please don’t do this to yourselves T-Wolves! You guys have come so far!!

You know what, I didn’t want him at first, but for what he can be had for, the Lakers need to start seeing what’s up. We could use another scorer that’s young with upside for pennies on the dollar, no matter how brainless he is.

I don’t get how the Wolves come out ahead on this. They would be losing a lot of flexibility when it comes to the upcoming off-season. Jason Richardson is a good player but the dude is pretty old. Plus like the article said we would be locked in for like 3 more years. Maybe they are hoping for a draft pick in return but I doubt the magic do that. We’ll see.
