So much for thinking of this game as an Eastern Conference Finals preview.

Chicago’s Derrick Rose will not play against the Miami Heat on Wednesday night due to a strained groin muscle, Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau said before the game, reports Aggrey Sam of CSNChicago.com.

C.J. Watson is in and will get the start. It’s not quite the same.

The Bulls have been able to fight through a rash of injuries (Richard Hamilton is still out) and maintain the top seed in the East. At some point Thibodeau will have to weigh their playoff seed against getting his guys healthy for the post season.

For now, the bloom is of the rose in this game.

I’m a fan of the Bulls…but even if I wasn’t, the Bulls-Heat match up is one of the best games in the NBA.

Both teams have this respective hatred towards each other and both teams really give it all they can to get that W.

So from an NBA point of view, Rose being out tonight sucks because we don’t get these genuine games every day.

As a fellow Bulls fan, I felt the same but Lucsanity or Ridiculucas came up big

lakers lose a single game kurt will say: they are not a contending team this year.

miami lost 2 straight games 1 against bulls without d-rose: not a single article. haha

    bc crying about heat losing?

    • philtration - Mar 15, 2012 at 8:42 AM

Funny how Kurt hyped this game up for two weeks (as if it needed to be) but now all I hear is crickets chirping.
You posted that video of LeBron dunking over John Lucas with your pants around your ankles so where is the video of Lucas hitting that fade away over James?
Instead we get more Dwight Howard nonsense.

Anyone that doubted that the Bulls are the deepest team in the NBA should have watched this game.

The best he could muster was an article about Noah having a good dunk. Bottom line: only one team was playing with swagger. And how about some love for John Lucas III? LeBron’s dunk in the previous game seems like another Miami Heat meeting of the Mickey Mouse club now.

I truly hope that the bulk of you aren’t Bulls fans, and that you’re just the standard, run-of-the-mill “I don’t like the Heat because they’re better then the team I like” trolls that frequent these boards, because you truly sound clinically brain dead. Bull balls slapping LeBron’s face after they beat his team for the first time in nearly a year? Declaring domination during a meaningless game in March? Something about professional sports in Cuba? There’s something wrong with you idiots.

Just because you’re a closet heat fan doesn’t make us brain dead. All you post is negative trash that nobody wants to hear. I encourage you to stop reading the comments and not posting.

This retard thinks the last meet was a win when we couldve stole it with free throws, and in miami, and no deng, if thats the culture over in miami it truly shows lebrons swagger is rubbing off on ya hahaha, mounted you bums, 42-2 halftime bench points what the hell is that coach doing that got be a record, the fact is that this game that didnt matter showed you clowns we can win with our bench alone, oh yea and your citys filled with cubans who floated there, your city should break off and float to cuba if they dont want to compete lol this was a classic

    • gmsingh - Mar 16, 2012 at 8:01 AM

Is it possible for the Bulls bench to get the MVP this year?
