What has he done as GM to earn the level of commitment he seems to be getting? Signing Gilbert Arenas? Signing Hedu? I mean, I get that he does a ton of quality work for local city youth programs and is generally a good guy, but he’s not Jerry West. He’s basically been given a blank checkbook to spend whatever he wanted over the past 6 seasons, and his decisions have backed this franchise into a financial corner to a level that only Isaiah Thomas can appreciate.

He should’ve stay at Wisconsin. When he finally ends his NBA coaching stint, he should go back to the college ranks where he can go back to teaching the game, instead of dealing with all the non-basketball nonsense that has become the norm for NBA coaches.
