Here is our daily look around the NBA — links to stories worth reading and notes to check out (stuff that did not get its own post here at PBT).

Byron Scott says he doesn’t want the Cavaliers to trade Ramon Sessions at the deadline. Consider this some “give us the first round pick or we keep him” posturing that goes on early in the week.

Antawn Jamison wants to stay in Cleveland through the trade deadline. With his massive salary ($15 million) he’ll get his wish.

Kobe Bryant passed the ball with the game on the line Sunday. To Andrew Bynum. It was the right play, but still kind of shocking when you see Kobe do it.

Remember all the tests and hoops Kobe Bryant had to jump through after Dwyane Wade gave him a concussion at the All-Star Game. Now it’s Rudy Gay’s turn, he showed concussion symptoms after the Grizzlies latest game (he can use that to explain the 3-for-13 shooting night).

Carmelo Anthony doesn’t really understand why he was sitting a lot in the fourth quarter Sunday. That says a lot.

Ty Lawson was killing everyone last week at the end of games, this week he is day-to-day with a sprained foot.

The Celtics starters logged a lot of minutes in the first game of an eight-game road trip Sunday. Doc Rivers says he is not worried. He should be.

Wilson Chandler’s agent threw down a deadline of Friday to sign a long-term deal in Denver. If not, he may sit out and try his hand at restricted free agency this summer.

Andrew Bogut is not walking through that door — he hints he will not be back before the playoffs. If the Bucks even make the playoffs.

Here’s an interesting look back at what the Kings have done the last five years at the trade deadline.

The Clippers are not playing like the NBA’s darlings.

With March Madness here, we bring you a reminder from the New York Times of just how sleezy the recruiting of college players has become.

An in-depth story about Dikembe Mutombo and the corrupt gold trade out of the Congo.

Remember Jelani McCoy? He just signed in Venezuela.

Cavs aren’t trading anybody. When AV comes back the wine and gold will be a 6 or 7 seed.

    Watch out for those Cavaliers!

Byron Scott might not want Sessions traded, but my fantasy team is anxiously awaiting the other shoe to drop here. I’ve patiently held onto him and am just waiting for the Lakers or Heat to do the smart thing here. #annoyingfantasyguysorryfolks
