anyways…i think you are underselling Gasol big time. i think Rondo is a valuable asset as well but don’t make a premier 2 time champ to be a waste of space.

i would be very happy with that line-up…

…but i hear ya, getting a PG in the draft would be nice too.

yeah, Malt…i feel our Lakers have the potential to go deep this year (like the Mavs last year…and who saw that coming? nobody)…i don’t buy into the “sky is falling” mentality from haters or laker fans with short term memory loss.

PG- Sessions
SG- Bryant
SF- Beasley
PF- Gasol
C- Bynum

…or we can keep the picks. This year is straight LOADED with quality ballers coming out of college this year to the point that even the 2nd round will produce some sweet picks. I’d rather go the draft route this year. But then again we got to trust Jimmy Buss’ little brother and his bartender to make the draft picks soooo…maybe Beas’ and “school is now in” sessions may be the way to go!

Kobe, Rondo, and Bynum would be a nice trio. However, I can’t see Boston doing it unless Rondo is a cancer in the locker room. Whatever the LAKERS do I hope they don’t sign Will Bynum. He’s a career backup and 5′ 10″!! Sessions would be much better. I also like Beasley off the bench for instant offense. Maybe being around Kobe would help him reach his potential.

The problem with keeping Rondo is Boston will always be a playoff team . They are in a very tough spot . The worst thing in the NBA to be is just a middle of the road team . Either trade everyone for younger players and cap space or lose in first or second round. Ainge has a very tough decision to make but if I was him I would have to take what i can get for the big three. Losing for two years and getting high picks is probably the best option at this point. Nothing wrong with rebuilding or reloading just someone has to make that tough call.

I wouldn’t get this move for Boston. If it’s for this year, then what are you doing with KG? If it’s for after KG is off the books then why would you be trading young for old?

That would be an awful move for Boston, they need to get younger…..not trade their best young player for an older one. Im not sure Rondo is a guy you can build around, but you have to do better than that if you trade him.

ugh…i wish the Lakers would just make a couple MINOR tweeks (sessions/beasley/etc…) and ride out the season with what they got. personally, i think this team is closer to a title game appearance than most think (but hey, i’m a Laker fan, so go figure). this team just needs to find it’s “heart” again.
