Sounds kind of like 40 yard dash times in the NFL. Nice info, and cool that they can gather the info like that, but does not tell the entire story of how effectively they play.

Whenever Parker pulls up for a jumper within the paint his defender falls back at least three feet making it almost impossible to block his shot, that´s how fast (quick) he really is!

with, or without dribbling the ball?? sprinting versus sprinting while dribbling the ball are two completely different things. I’ll take Rose dribbling over anyone. If its just a sprint without dribbling, I’ll take Parker. He’s built lower to the ground. Rose has the best handle in the league though, IMHO.

San Antonio has this equipment, and Chicago doesn’t. There is much more data on Parker than Rose, so of course the system will determine he’s the fastest. This study is very inconclusive

Back in 2009 i remember they said Devin Harris has the record for fastest time from one side of the court to the other with the ball in his hands,So he might be the fastest

Wall looks faster and although Ellis is a hybrid, he’s also faster than Parker. But faster doesn’t always mean better.
I’d rather have Rose, Deron Williams, and Chris Paul before Parker…
