Reuters We told you yesterday about veteran Mavericks guard Jason Kidd saying the referees didn’t respect Dallas as champions and they were not getting the calls.
Wednesday he got a call — from the league office informing him of his $25,000 fine for his comments. Nothing shocking here, the league doesn’t like players smacking the officials.
As we said yesterday, the Mavericks tend to be a jump shooting team behind Dirk Nowitzki so certainly teams like Oklahoma City — with slashers like Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant — get more calls. Teams that attack get the calls. The Mavericks have 99 problems but the refs ain’t one.

Two things: 1) Obviously, finish the title before posting. 2) what’s with that picture? Did Shawn Marion just find his wang for the first time?

“Jason Kidd fined $25,000 for”
Forgot the rest of the headline. Unless leaving off the end is supposed to mean something symbolic and I’m just missing it.

What about the official getting slightly physical with mike brown when all he was doing was pointing out a 3 second violation?
