Chadinkc—Get your facts straight. As has since been reported by several sources—The Cavs did offer to include JJ–Steve Kerr turned it down. Why let the facts get in the way of comments though right ?

Should have known this guy would be a dud this season after the reports of him getting booted from his team in Isreal (I believe). In the end, the Cavs may only end up receiving a 2nd rounder in 2017 but hey, it still looks better than him looking like a deer caught in headlights all the time. A waste of potential. But, knowing how stupid some crazy GMs are, he may still get a deal that totals $20M in, see Jerome James, Amir Johnson, and other big men.

There are plenty of teams out there who need low post help and on the right squad hickson could bring you 12 and 6 off the bench. Teams like the clerics, spurs, thunder, knicks, and maybe even cavs need front court help for their playoff pushes. And he could probably be moved for a 2nd round pick or a 12th man off someone’s bench.

yep…it’s amazing that people still really believe the Cavs backed out because of JJ Hickson…The Suns stopped it, then they got nothing for Amare in return when he left for NY. Great ownership out there in Phoenix….

Yes, the Cavs loved Hickson so much, they passed on Stoudamire and held out for a sweeter deal: Casspi and a a conditional pick. Everything I had heard said it was the Suns that would not do that deal.

Whoever still believes the cavs turned tht trade down has f’in down syndrome or was beaten too much as a child. Phx turned it down so we had to settle for jamison. Great team player but not what he once was for washington. But get it through ur skull phx said no deal not cleveland
