The Magic front office is in denial, nevermind the boxes by the front door, Dwight having his mail rerouted and his name taken off his locker. Yeah sure, he's still in love with you Orlando! Unless they can trade for Kobe and KD this is a wrap!

This has gotten ridiculous. The magic are like a jaded school girl who won't accept that an ex boyfriend doesn't want them anymore. Less than 2 weeks form the trade dead line and they are still trying to convince him to stay, Dwight probably threw out getting Nash to get the Magic off his back. That way he can get to the off season and just tell them he had a change of heart and opt out any way. Who really thinks the guy has weathered all of this drama and is a few months from being a free agent to just stay in Orlando.

The Magic need to trade him and start rebuilding. It's gone on long enough, they have to accept reality and move on. GM Otis Smith needs to be fired for losing the teams superstar and not having a decent exit plan.

The names I keep hearing in trade rumors for Orlando, (Monta Ellis/Steve Nash) don't inspire too much confidence about what the magic have in mind when they say "improving the team." Monta can score, but he's no Deron Williams. And how long does anyone think that Steve Nash will remain at the top of his game? Two, maybe 3 years? Dwight wants to play with another 1 or 2 stars around his age. He also wants to play in a bigger market.
