Otis Smith should be fired. Period. He could write a book on how to run a NBA finals team into the ground in less than 3 years. Most educated fans wouldn’t of made the moves this guy has. Why would Howard stay when Smith has proven over and over again that he is not capable of giving him a team talented enough to win a championship, or make the correct decisions and moves when they were on the cusp? Isiah Thomas Wouldn’t of traded for Agent’ packing heat’ Zero or Vince ‘no more hops’ Carter. Fire the clown already.

The Magic are mediocre. Nash doesn’t make them a legit contender. Howard doesn’t want to live in Orlando. At best they keep him for one more year and have to deal with all this trade talk again next year. Why don’t they stop being delusional and just move him already?

Redick and Nelson arent valuable trade assets. Anderson is a valuable big man who can shoot and rebound, the Magic would be fools to trade him. And if you are a GM for the Warriors or Suns do you move Ellis/Nash for the package you discussed? I think the answer would be a resounding no.

This is a case of too little, too late. Furthermore, what do the Magic have to trade? The Magic just need to blow it up, this team as constructed isnt going anywhere. They might as well start over again with Lopez, Brooks and the Nets lottery pick.

Howard wants to be the man but he APPEARS to be mentally & emotionally soft. He needs a Kobe or a Dirk to do the “heavy lifting” while he does the dirty work. If he goes to the Nets he will NOT win s title. Dwight, stay in Orlando, go to Brooklyn, or sign with Dallas, you don’t DESERVE to wear the PURPLE & GOLD of my beloved LAKERS.

So i guess Ryan Anderson and his expiring rookie contract or JJ Redick or maybe even Jameer Nelson and his expiring contract aren’t valuable trade assets. I know they dont have much but they do have some pieces they can work with.

what could the suns or warriors possibly want from the magic if Howard isn’t part of the deal. Anderson is the only other decent piece they have trade wise.
