I guess you failed to read the part about his large contract. He is not a solution to the Lakers problem at POINT Guard. This guy is a shooting guard not a break down the defense and pass guard.

Who or what could the Lakers possibly give the Jazz to make them interested? The Lakers have no one good at all at PG SG & SF besides Kobe, and they're obviously not trading him. And the Jazz are already 2 deep at PF and C. I don't think they could make a deal at all because the Lakers draft picks aren't worth a whole lot and they have no guards they could give them.

No kidding. I can't imagine the Lakers getting a better point guard than him. I just don't see the Celtics shipping Rondo out west, and I think they'd be better of with him than a Ramon Sessions or a Jameer Nelson. The Lakers just have so little to offer at this point. Maybe Dallas 1st rounder next year and the trade exception.

On a side note, have you guys ever looked at the full list of teams future picks? Good lord. My personal favorite:

Sacramento's own 2017 2nd round pick to Boston (top 55 protected in the 2017 Draft). If Sacramento's own 2017 2nd round pick is in the top 55 picks, then Sacramento's obligations to Boston shall be extinguished. [Boston - Sacramento, 2/24/2011]

Lakers ... Wake up . Might seem like an overstatement but this guy could solve alot of your problems . He is a streaky shooter , but can hit the 3 ball . He's super fast and can guard above average . The last two attributes are something that Derek fisher lacks ... tremendously . This guy had alot of potential being picked 5th overall them traded as the centerpiece in the Kidd deal . I would like to see him finally make something of his career.
