Maybe the article was edited but it now says, “It looks like Kobe will be one of the test cases this season.”

It doesn’t say he would be the first to test the policy, just one of the test cases.

As the biggest Kobe fanboy let me just start by saying Kobe is by no means the cleanest player in the game. Kobe through his years and given a lot more vicious shots than he’s taken some that were very suspension worthy that didn’t get called that way because he’s Kobe.

The East was down by around 20 and getting flat out blown out and some guys who can’t handle that type of treatment will react. Wade didn’t foul him incredibly hard, he went over the top and caught a piece of Kobe. It is what it is. Anybody who wants to cheer Wade for accidently hurting Kobe is a douche to begin with, but anybody who wants to overreact and think that Kobe or somebody else needs to get Wade back is also in the wrong.

Basketball is a physical game and Kobe and Wade are 2 of the most talented players to watch in this game. After that foul the entire complexion of the game changed. People got serious out there, and it made for a more entertaining game. If we’re going to watch an exhibition of the best, I expect to see them giving their best.
