In reality the celtics are just having a tough time, a team like the celtics we dont need the best record to win the championship, we just need to be healthy, im a celtics fan so im rollling with them, the second half should be better!

Bozo knows nothing about basketball. Why dont you pop in a video of the 08 Finals and watch him bully Pau all over the court, last i check Pau is 7’2” so how is he smaller than KG. And second fiddle to Pierce? Please KG is the leader of that team if you meant second fiddle as far as letting Pierce being the primary scorer that another issue and that was a selfless act by KG in order to win. The fact that at 36 or about to be 36 that KG is still a very good defender and solid offensive player is more than pretty much any other forward at the same age.

I hope Garnett said something in the meeting about rebounding. The Celts are getting massacred on the boards, and Garnett is the main culprit.

Other teams are getting twelve or fifteen more shots a game than Boston. Tough to win doing that.

He’s been in the league for 16 seasons. Don’t you think your “Oh just wait till he gets in the face of the wrong person” would’ve happened by now? He has a ring and has made changes to the game in his career. Just because he doesn’t punch people with the force that he punches his chest does not mean he’s a “fake tough guy”.

Wait, what do Laker fans have to complain about? For all of LA’s flaws, it wouldn’t shock me at all if they made a decent playoff run. All of those teams below OKC are interchangeable, more or less. Are Laker fans seriously disappointed in their team? Why? Heck, I’m a Mavs fan and we spent half the season looking as if Dirk’s dog had been shot, and I’m still positively thrilled with Dallas’ playoff potential. How are the Lakers much different? Both veteran teams, both flawed, both with proven championship closers. If Laker fans are convinced their season is doomed for one-and-done in the playoffs, that is fascinating to me, because I think the west is absurdly wide open outside of OKC.

As for Boston, the Celtics are a better team than they showed in the first half. But better by degrees, not whole circles or some other crappy math analogy that failed to cohere once I started typing it. Miami beating them in the playoffs last year had some flukish aspects (the unsustainable three point shooting and such), but it wasn’t a fluke. Kevin Garnett can call all the meetings he wants to, but that team is not a championship caliber team. Should they meet Chicago/Miami in the playoffs, it’s going to be over in five games.

You mean the Celtics play the Cavs tonight (Tuesday), not Wednesday.. The Cavs play the NY Lins tomorrow night.

The only solace for Laker fans this season (barring a big trade) is that the C’s have fallen off even worse than the Lakers have. haha
