Speaking of pageantry, look at the above picture of Wade and Lebron. This is exactly the kind of stuff that makes haters of the Heat. Everything is a spectacle. They say it’s all about winning, and I don’t doubt they want to win, but there seems to be a lot of trying to look good and be “original”. That’s why people love Rose. He’s focused, humble, and professional. He’s not about all the bells and whistles and he takes all the blame when things go wrong, even when they aren’t his fault.

I agree. I think all the extra pressure heaped on his shoulders about not being clutch makes it even harder for him. Why Lebron and not other players? I think the sort of lack of humility, spurning Cleveland for Miami, and general showboating has turned a lot of people against him. He was pretty clutch throughout last year’s playoffs until the Finals, but that’s not what anyone remembers. He’s going to have to make some big shots in the finals for this shadow to go away.

And you’re right, why looking to pass at the end of the game?

Why on God’s green earth?? hmmm maybe he was double covered 30 feet away from the rim. He should have passed it to Melo he was wide open.

I will entertain your comment for a minute..

If LeBron would have hit the game winner it wouldn’t have mattered because it’s not the Finals.

If LeBron would have missed it then he’s a choker (even though it’s an exhibition game).

If LeBron would have passed it (which he did) he’s a coward. Even though its an Exhibition game and not the Finals.

So to sum it up, LeBron was in a no win situation (again). Make it, miss it, or pass it would have all led to criticism.

Fans get angry because players don’t take the game seriously yet when Wade defends the rim and fouls Kobe he’s a dirty player. It’s just an exhibition game, if LeBron makes the bucket ahhh it’s just an exhibition game, if LeBron misses or passes it was a big game and he showed no heart. Just plain ridiculous.

I think the think with Lebron is, why on God’s green earth was he looking to pass the ball there? You think Kobe’s passing? Wade? Durant? Rose? That’s the thing about him to me. Not that he’s not clutch. It’s that he doesn’t want to be the guy when he should be the guy. I just don’t get it. He’s the most talented basketball player to ever walk the planet and he tries to pass it with the game on the line. Glass half full would say that he was looking to make the best basketball play, but glass half empty guy would say he doesn’t want to take the blame for losing a game. You can’t be scared to fire it up there Lebron.
