Cleveland haters? To use your word, is it ” hating” to call out someone doing likewise. Odd.

To your broader point, you may be correct, but a few things are working against that thesis:
-the cavs schedule is backloaded with tougher games.
-they will likely just buyout Jamison and release him if they can’t find a sucker to take a trade by the deadlie.
-I wold imagine sessions ends up in LA for their second first rounder.
-Andy v is still hurt.

They don’t need to fall off the pace by more than 3-4 games to get a lot more ping pong balls than at 13. But if not this year for another high pick, then yah, it does look like hey could get stuck in the middle.

Despite the CLE haters, you are probably correct. Irving is good enough, and the East is bad enough that the Cavs are unlikely to have another top pick in the next few years. Thus, the Cavs will not be able to add a 2nd impact player like Minny and the Clippers and OKC were before Irving hits UFA status. With so many teams pining over a star PG, why would he stay in CLE? He won’t.

Maybe he stays or maybe he leaves, but you clearly have no idea of which you speak. Gilbert thre a hissy fit hen James left but prior to that and largely since was an anti-Napolean. Indulgent comes to mind. If the caves are winning or on their way, I suspect Irving may stay, but if not he certainly leaves. So really, it’s on Grant more than Gilbert.

That being said, why do you feel compelled to taunt the people of Cleveland? Why be a jerk? Do you feel better now?
