Antoine Walker is on the Idaho Stampede, but he only qualifies for the all star and franchise player achievements. If Allen Iverson is serious about wanting to make a comeback, he is going to have to go through the D-League, have a massive attitude overhaul, go to some sort of thing like rehab for his gambling addiction, and he has to accept a bench role at this stage of his career. Although, he is probably a better option than Derek Fisher at point guard.

I gotta give him credit if he does get the chance. If he plays D-League, he will be doing somthing all his haters wouldnt expect him too. And for that I give an ego maniac like Allen credit.

The Lakers would be better off with “L’il Bow Wow”, a younger, shorter, less talented option…but still with (according to Bow Wow) “the ill crossover like Iverson”.

I don’t know any franchise players that play in the D-League.
I don’t know any Olympian that that plays in the D-League.
I don’t know any All-Star that plays in the D-League.
I don’t know any former MVP that plays in the D-League.
I don’t know any three-time scoring champion that plays in the D-League.
I don’t know any first team All-NBA (player) that plays in the D-League.

I saw him in Vegas either last summer or the summer before playing slot machines with a big posse watching..what a waste of time/money for a guy that already had reports swirling about his financial issues.

if the dope would have got rid of half the blood suckers that he allowed to hang around him, which attributed to him blowing tons of cash and also too his attitude, he would have finished a great career and been constantly talked about as one of the all time best. The things he could do and did do were amazing for a man of his size.

How sad is this story right? Once everyones favorite point guard. I thought this guy was going to be in the NBA breaking ankles forever. Now he can’t even find a team that will let him ride the bench. He should’ve took the offer from the lakers when it was on the table. I wonder if he still has that deadly crossover though.
