Report: Kobe Bryant, Vanessa working on reconciliation

Yesterday, on Valentine’s day, Kobe Bryant was greeted outside the Lakers locker room by Vanessa — the woman in the process of divorcing him — and she was wearing holiday-appropriate red pumps.

Now comes this report from TMZ (via NBC’s own Off The Bench):

… and now TMZ can confirm the two are working on a reconciliation. Vanessa showed up for the Lakers Valentine’s Day victory over the Atlanta Hawks. The two shared a kiss in the tunnel on the way into the locker room….

But sources told us at the time Vanessa filed … don’t be surprised if she goes back to Bryant.

While issues like the property split — she got the three Newport Beach homes — have been figured out, the divorce itself would not be final until June and can be rescinded any time before that.

Kobe haters, go ahead and jump on this if you must. But for most of us doing so would be living in a glass house and throwing stones — how many times have you gotten back together with an ex? Pretty much all of us have at one point.

Again, this is a 10-year marriage with young children involved. If Kobe and Vanessa can figure it out, good for them.

For 150 million I’d go back out with my ex too.

David Stern has vetoed the divorce.

my only question is who paid for dinner?

He’s got 75 millions reasons to make up with her.

I really hope it works out for them. Part of my law practice in NY handles matrimonial actions, as well as custody & visitation cases & I can tell you that they get nasty & both parties wind up being hurt in the end. I really hope it works for them.

The Kobe System works. She’s coming back for more.

I watch sports, not peoples lives.

Good for you Kobe. I’m happy for you. She is so hot.

It’s always cheaper to keep her

I hope they work it out, because of the children. Those girls love Kobe, and it would be very hard for them, if He and Vanessa were to split. And as fine as she is, he better hold on to her!

I’m really happy for the kids. Having a father away from home must be tough, but divorce takes it to another level.
