You may be right about Blatche… but he is tall and a team with Vets like Heat..Celtics.. maybe Blazers could use him. To me McGee is better than Deandre Jordan and this off season showed there was a market for him. They both gamble all out on blocks but McGee is better on offense… I think there would be takers for him. I know people love watching John Wall but to me he isnt going to be the leader of winning team. I think you have to get a decent amount back but if you get the right offer I think you cant get much worse.

Also, all DC sports teams just suck. There’s just a funk in the air about it. It’s like being a Cubs fan, but way worse and with every sport.

I go to plenty of Wizards games. The Wizards suck, the ticket prices are cheap. However, it is annoying when a good team like the Heat come into town and $5 tickets turn into $70 dollar tickets.

This isn’t uncommon from transient cities. Lakers/Clippers games usually have a strong contingent of fans from the other side.

As a Chicago transplant to the dc area, I went to bulls-wizards a few weeks ago and there were more bulls fans than wizards fans. Me and my brothers also started a rose MVP chant that the wiz fans couldn’t drown out.

Yeah, when you trade a guy like Kevin Garnett who clearly still had plenty of basketball left in him… your fans are going to let you know how they feel. They were very close to winning a championship, but ran into some horrible officiating with the Lakers because that’s whothe NBA wanted to promote.

But those days of Sam Cassell, Latrell Sprewell, and of course Garnett… were very fun. You even had Wally Sczerbiak for the ladies. Haha.

So if it was the same in Minnesota, I assume you think they don’t deserve the Timberwolves?

Fans are the one who pay money, what they deserve is the chance to voice their pleasure or displeasure with the quality of the product they pay for. It’s not different from any other service or good you pay for. If anything, these franchises that don’t make any efforts to get any better and try to win… they don’t deserve the fans or the fans’ money.

Leonsis said he’d take the lumps of rebuilding, but he/EG aren’t doing anything to make it less lumpy.

I doubt many want Biatche, all talent and no drive. McGee isn’t far behind, but I don’t think he’s a lost cause yet. Wall’s the only reason anybody shows up to the games as it is.

DC just wants a rel team and them to finally ditch that Wizards tag. Singleton plays hard but most of the team takes plays off. There are players on this team that have value… I really dont understand why they havent made any moves. You can have a Mcgee, Nick Young, Andre Blatche or John Wall on your team but you cant have them all on one team. Any of these guys could contribute on a winning team so I’m not sure why there arent moves being made.

That’s pretty pathetic, DC. Just for that, I hope John Wall leaves after his contract is up. Apparently you guys don’t deserve him!

I have friends that live in Minnasota and go to games and I’ve been told pre-Kevin Love/ post Garnett T-Wolves teams were the same way.

Pretty sure DC cheered plenty for the Wizards not too long ago when it was Arenas, Jamison, Butler, and DESHAWN STEVENSON. But they ran into the officials cheating and the NBA clearly trying to escort their baby Lebron to the Finals a few years in a row. Eventually Wizards blew the team up and they’ve sucked ever since. They have 1 star in John Wall and nothing else. Horrible teams get booed in their own stadium. Just ask the Orioles who are only 30 minutes North.
