Water under the bridge, you say? (that’s rhetorical) And they didn’t get what they wanted in return. True. But that doesn’t mean they shouldn’t be focused on getting a quick guard who can pass and shoot for chrissakes. I mean, I’m not one of those Fisher haters. He is one of the best assist/turnover guys in the league, but for only twenty damn minutes a game. I’d love to see them leave him on the court for forty for a few games, just to see what they could get out of him.

On a related note: I heard that another superstar from a bye-bye-we-gone era is also thinking of a comeback and just so happens to have real estate in the greater Los Angeles area. That’d be a certain renaissance-man and all-around brilliant b-baller who goes by the name of Skibby MaRue!

That may be true…but what is also true is he looked completely disinterested for most of that season and nearly half of his shot attempts were 3 pointers, which he insisted on jacking up even though he shot 28% from beyond the arc for the year.

He’s over-the-hill, only wanting the paycheck who is going to stand out by the three point line and hoist up shots that have little chance of going in. Does this sound like a guy any team is going to want?
