NY is a big city and they are most popular team in NBA.If they wait Baron’s return impatiently,it means Knicks can not be contender.Baron Davis was good at 05-06 but we are in 2012 bro.

Davis is not going to make this team worth rooting for. This team had heart prior to the Melo trade, and was fun to watch. What Dolan and isaiah have done to this club is criminal.

donnie is probably turning over in his wheelchair right now watching dolan run the franchise into the ground right after donnie brought them back to respectability…this isn’t entirely d’antoni’s fault as a good point guard is essential to running his system effectively and since we can’t fire the owner it’s going to be the coach that takes the brunt of the criticism…the only way this can be saved at least for this year is for the knicks to make a trade for a true PG (someone like a steve nash-type)…other than that someone needs to slap carmelo and stop him from taking 30 shots a game instead of distributing to others and hope baron can give us some type of PG effectiveness

I am surprised that such venom is directed almost exclusively at D’Antoni. I guess he is the easiest to replace.

While it is true he has underperformed, responsibility for this fiasco of a team rests almost entirely with Dolan. Walsh dug them out of a deep, deep hole and Dolan (with, apparently, Isiah’s help…again—which, if true boggles the mind) dropped them right back in. He is the Snyder of the NBA. Hey, get me a big name player! No, wait…make that two!

Waiting for Davis to cure much of anything—as Kurt mentions—is a bit of a fool’s errand.

It’s a pity, really, as the league is better with a good Knick’s team.

At the very least I’m appreciative that you didn’t refer to the disorganized and dysfunctional mess on the court as “D’Antoni’s System.”

He is a one-trick-pony and his days are numbered.
