His “point” is that, regardless of who else is playing center in the NBA, KG is NOT a center. Neither is Pau Gasol, which is why he plays PF at 7 feet tall, instead of getting overwhelmed physically at the 5 spot (which is what KG would get…overwhelmed). KG is a bogus tough guy, who would get squashed flat by the real “bigs” in the NBA, if he tried to play center on a nightly basis.

Why? Garnett is on his last leg and makes a ton of money. The Celtics are trying to sucker a team into taking on bad contacts from old broken down players so they can rebuild. Don’t help them!

That’s from ESPN. So like I said they’re strapped for cash after the Rose deal and more than likely have to let Asik or Gibson go.

And Allen is an upgrade over Rip Hamilton! Imagine the damage that can be done with Rose’s penetration and then dish to Ray for the shot. He’s way more clutch than Rip. Ok Ray is 37 ok. We know that. Rip is 33.. ok. Nash is 37 too so what? He’s still a play maker and Allen is still the purest shooter in the game.

Also, Gibson is signed through 2013-2014, and Asik through 2012-2013. The Bulls will be keeping both for the long haul. Zero chance they mess with this team’s chemistry.

hey, nobody forced you to be a teacher dude. you should have worked on that jumper a little more in the driveway. what you do is honorable but get off the soapbox. Why bash these guys for their salary? Besides there are some school districts that pay teachers 150-200k a year, maybe you need to look into improving your situation instead of hating. just sayin….

Asik and Gibson are both Restricted free agents. Bulls can (and will) match any offers for both. GarPax has built a dynasty. The Bulls might consider letting Korver walk after this season and use his $5 mil to sign Allen, then trading Noah for draft picks, and using his $10 mil to sign both Garnett and Pierce for $5 mil each.

I dont think Allen is an upgrade over RIP. Ray is almost 37 and Rip is 33, they bring different things to the table so it’s sorta what & what. You dont give up Taj at any point, Asik is expendable because of the other big they have coming from Europe in 2013. But I wouldn’t give up Taj this early, when Boozer doesn’t get the job done Taj comes in and balls hard. D Rose needs youth not an unbalanced team with too many veterans on their last leg / contracts. If you could add Ray, Corver is the obvious choice for a trade. Realistically I would expect teams like Houston and San Antonio to be talking to Boston about the big 3. Which would also free Doc to take over for Damphony in Nu Yawk. I blame Ainge for the whole debacle anyway. Instead of adding to his team he killed it by trading Perk. Perk and Rondo are 2 building blocks which would have made Boston enticing to some free agents, but if they blow the team up, nobody is going to go there voluntarily.

Allen makes $10 mil. Asik only makes $1.8 mil, and Gibson $1.2. So that trade doesn’t work. Gotta give up equal dollars.

I think Ray has the most value of the big 3. Every contender would love to have the deadliest shooter in the game?

Ray to Chicago, Miami or Dallas.

Would love to see him retire in a Bulls jersey since he is part of Team Jordan.

In Miami he’d be a great back up to Wade.

Dallas cause I have a feeling they’ll get D.Will AND Howard.

BUT.. In the case Dallas doesn’t get them and Howard goes to Nets I’d like to see him there. Boston could get Brooks who’s a good you talent in return. Asik from Bulls or Gibson would work. They’re both due new contracts and after signing rose they’ll end up losing one of them anyway so why not trade one? Allen is an upgrade over Hamilton.

Too bad for the Celtics. The run is over. One does have to ask though what the hell has Boston been doing with their drafts/free agency.
Players are only held accountable for so much, Ainge has done jack**** improving the overall roster. Complacency.
