Of course if you list the weakest position on the Bulls championship teams against the 2nd strongest on the Lakers that definitely proves something! Especially when you throw in the 2nd and 3rd stringers! You want to play with forwards? How about Scottie Pippen (best perimeter defender ever, no question they don’t win the first title without his D on Magic), Dennis Rodman (oh wow, another hall of famer! weird) Toni Kukoc (who averaged 19 points per game one year, so I get to call him a dominant 20+ ppg scorer, right?), Horace Grant in his prime (15/10 out of your third best player? not too bad), and we match them up against Rick Fox, Robert Horry, and the over the hill versions of Glen Rice, Ho Grant, and AC Green. Don’t forget about Slava Medvedenko and Mark Madsen, since we’re listing the scrubs. Oh, and here’s another scrub you may not remember, Samaki Walker? He STARTED 63 GAMES for the 01-02 championship team.

Kobe isn’t as great as Michael, but MJ won with MORE talent; not less.

Magic has been and will always be my favorite player of all time, but to compare him, Kareem, Bird to the likes of Jordan or Kobe is crazy. They were all great players in their time, but there is no argument that Jordan and Kobe are better. And just for clarification I am and always will be a Jordan hater, but the guy and crazy skills.

The other people talking smack on Kobe because he wants to make his team better are idiots. There are very, very few teams that won championships that didn’t have multiple stars on them. Magic, Kareem, Worthy—Bird, McHale, Johnson—-Jordan, Pippen, Rodman—Duncan, Robinson—-Isiah Thomas, Dumars— etc etc It’s been proven one superstar can only get you so far ie Lebron and Allen Iverson…

So after all that when my superstarless 76ers win it this year I can come back on here and tell ya all about the team with no superstar that won….lol

The bulls were built around Jordan, but he didnt hog. Steve Kerr was there for the open three. He always stayed behind Jordan. Jordan would drive, Kerr would be as his 6 o clock for his dish. Pippen/ Kukoc was his secondary scorer. Always cut at the elbow of the key for the turn around. Longley big presence for passes down low for resets, rarely took it. Who referred to Shaq as a” complementary” player? My dude please stop. You’re not making any sense. EVERY TEAM Shaq played on he had a great cast. Sure he may have been the best player on two of the teams that he took to the finals (Dwyane Wade was better on the Heat roster) but none of those teams were bad teams. On the Magic team he had Penny, Nick Andersen who at the time was the Magic’s all time point leader, D3 plus Horace Grant who was a GREAT rebounder, and the list goes on and on! And let’s not mention the Lakers coached by a very unique Phil Jackson. Shaq had help, Kobe had/has help MICHAEL JORDAN had HELP!! Shaq eventually turned into a “complementary” player as most stars past their prime do. If you’re gonna talk sports talk sports, but make sense man.

You can look at all those horrible players on the Bulls and especially that horrible coach they had. Everybody knows that’s why Jordan is so great, because Kobe and every other champion had help, but not Jordan, nope just him and all his Space Jam cartoon friends on the court winning with him.

This is why I hate the bulls and I will always hate Jordan. They had one of the greatest dynasty teams IN ANY SPORT…..but 1 guy gets the recognition.

Three moments sum up Kobe’s entire career:

(i) His rookie year when they were bounced by the Utah Jazz, in that final play-off game instead of passing the ball into Shaq like he was supposed to, he tried to take the last shot and put up an airball. The play was designed to get the ball to Shaq, the established All-star and best player on the team. However, the 18 yr old HS ball player who did not know his place and tried to be “the man.”

(ii) When Shaq left and Kobe was finally “the man,” he cried about leaving L.A. for a better situation when he realized he could not carry the team.

(iii) The 2012 L.A. Lakers are the most talented team in the league. They have two 7-footers who can play. The rest of the teams are lucky if they have one. Yet Kobe is calling Dwight Howard for help! Are you kidding me? Who on the list of all-time greats were calling other All-Stars for help like they were playing AAU? Again Kobe shows his selfishness! If he really wanted to “upgrade” the Lakers he would ask Mitch Kupchak to trade him for Lebron.
