Video: Jodie Meeks talks surprising Sixers

Jan 18, 2012, 12:56 PM EDT

Jodie Meeks joined CSNPhilly’s “Lunch Break” talking about the surprising Sixers, how the team is more comfortable together in their second year together as a group and how they are happy to share the load on offense.

Meeks is giving the Sixers solid minutes as a starter, largely as a guy who can space the floor and knock down the three, but he talks about wanting to come off screens more and get shots from the midrange and other areas as well.  Interesting conversation worth watching.

Jodi Meeks is a starter, but thanks for the Sixers coverage regardless.

Ask him why does Andre Iguodala get the ball at the end of the game…he chokes each and every time…8 years of choking…

Jody has a phobia of laying the ball off the backboard…he does so at his own peril and with limited success.

If you’re reading this, Jody, I’m sorry I unveiled your secret to the rest of the world…just slow your roll on the next fastbreak and lay it in niiiiice and eassssy….
