I feel bad for the guy. Bad that the reason he has no ring was because his owner was a cheap dumbass and horrible evaluator of talent. Trade him to a contender only please. He doesn’t deserve to widdle away on NY as they are NOT contenders.

You have to admire his loyalty, even if its detrimental to his career goals. He’s a class guy. I met him a few years ago walking alone down 13th street in greenwich village in NYC. He was a real down to earth and approachable guy….looked like any other skater dude in the area.

Steve wasn’t giving the middle finger to the whole locker room, he is just being honest. What did Robert Sarver think was going to happen…Eventually after you let all of your talent walk out the door for next to nothing, or nothing in Amar’e's case, this is what was bound to happen. Steve can speak most candidly of anybody because he has been here since the beginning and has seen the highest of the highs and now the lowest of the lows. And this isn’t just about Amar’e either. It all started with Joe Johnson in 2005 and hasn’t stopped since. Kurt Thomas, Shawn Marion, Raja Bell and then J-Rich, Leandro Barbosa, etc etc. They are not all superstars but they all were intrigal parts of the 7 seconds or less offense. Now Two-Time is left with 39 year-old Grant Hill, God bless him, and Gortat. Marcin Gortat and Markief Morris are the 2 players we can build around for the future. Unfortunately for us loyal Suns die-hards, it’s going to get alot lot worse, before it’s going to get better again. If we keep this up then Steve may not even still be here by the time the trade deadline hits. The 7 Seconds or Less Sun has long been SET!!!

That’s a huge misinterpretation of Nash’s quote. It’s called accountability. If you read into it, he speaks as a team, using words like ‘we’–and saying what needs to be done if there is any hope for improvement. That’s what a good leader does. A bit disheartened due to loss after loss? Yes. Disgruntled? No.
