Celtics fans may not like this very much. Or, after the last five games they may like it a lot, come to think of it.

Chris Mannix of Sports Illustrated and Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports were on NBC’s SportsTalk Tuesday talking how to fix the Boston Celtics. And their answer is pretty much “with dynamite.”

Would the Celtics really go this route? As I said, there is a big market out there for Ray Allen and a nice sized one for Kevin Garnett, but getting someone to take on $15 million next year for Paul Pierce is not going to net Celtics fans as much as they think before the trade deadline. That might be a move for this summer. If they go that route at all.

I thought they started the blowup when they dumped Perkins. If not, they should have.

This is supposedly a strong draft, now would be a great time to trade the “Big 3” for whatever picks and youth you can get.

I don’t expect an amazing return, but they should be able to shed salary and pick up a few assets.

I agree that they should blow up the Celtics. The downward spiral has already begun, much like for the Red Sox.
