I completely agree.

C.J. Watson has been going great, Rip is back, Deng is playing at an elite level, Boozer is having a decent season, and Noah is finally getting his energy level back the past few games.

Then you have the Bench Mob with Lucas III at point, Brewer and his improved shot, Korver and those hot sauce threes, Gibson who is solid at any given night, with Asik 'n destroy at big.

That's a super solid team that can compete. Throw in MVP Derrick Rose to the mix and the team got THAT much better.

He may need two weeks now that he's been diagnosed with turf toe instead of a sprain. I know Boozer wont keep giving us games like last night, but if he comes close we should be alright with CJ running the point.

Well their next 3 opponents are a combined 12-30. Unless he's 100%, it's madness to think the Bulls shouldn't put in a decent effort and stand on their own two feet without him. Give him a week off with lots of toe massages. Sure don't want to see Rose falter like Boozer did with turf toe in the playoffs last year (at least that was the excuse).

And honestly, give him 2 weeks off if that's what he needs. They might lost a couple here or there, but let him get as healthy as he can.

After watching Rip in action again tonight, I really think if this team can stay healthy and go to the playoffs at full strength, they're a completely different team offensively than they were last year. There's no longer an offensive black hole at the 2 spot. Rip will give you 15, and Brewer has been much improved so far this year. I think the gap between them and the Heat is much, much smaller this year.

I'd rather Rose sit and return healthy. At least they have Watson and surprisingly Rip is back and the team looks good tonight against Phoenix. With the condensed schedule, you dont want this injury to linger.
Got to be ready for Miami!
