Actually, as of right now, he is doing a better job than Larry Brown. Brown typically did it with older, role type veterans. By the time he left, those older role type veterans were usually a step slower, and the franchise was in trouble. Collins is doing it with a team that for the most part, the only guy you could really consider experienced in Brand. They have guys like Nocioni and Battie that pick up garbage minutes, but they only have 1 guy above 26 who gets any minutes (Iggy, 28) besides Brand. The rest of the team is 25 or younger. Lou Williams is the next oldest, and he was born in October of 86

Doug Collins is pulling a Larry Brown with my 76ers right now…squeezing way more effort and talent out of this modest squad than most coaches could do with an All-Star team. Perhaps a high-profile player will decide to come add to the promising equation the Sixers have been formulating for years now…god knows Iggy isn’t a #1 scorer.

Man…#28th…I can see why Howard wants to play for the Nets! As a Bulls fan I’m so glad Howard doesn’t want to play for them. I don’t blame him, then he’d have to come into every game expecting to win. Way too much pressure! Stick with hanging with Jay Z and constant losing, much less stressfull.

It’s interesting to compare Vegas ratings to various lists I see around the internet. Vegas is much higher on Miami and Portland, not so hot on Philly, Indiana, or the Clippers.
