I remember this question being asked twice, once before they played a regular season game and once before (or possibly during) the first playoff run. Before the season, they both pointed to Pierce immediately. Come playoff time, it had somehow shifted to Ray.

You do prove a good point, but I’ll tell you why I slightly disagree.

The Wades, D-Roses, Kobes, Durants, on the NBA are paid and required to take that last second shot.

Now I understand it’s a team effort and team sport, but when LeBron was still with the Cavs, there was a game once when they were down by 2. I forgot who they were playing and the importance of the game, but I do remember what happened.

LeBron had the ball and went in the paint, everyone was assuming he was going to take a layup that actually had a chance of going in, when the outside man seen this he came to help and LeBron passed to the open man at the three-point line, Donyell Marshall who shot and missed the shot.

Eventually LeBron was criticized for not taking the shot and blah, blah, blah.

That Boston Celtics Last shot interview I believe Paul P, and KG both said Ray Allen and Ray Allen said the open the man, correct me if im wrong. im not perfect so i could be wrong
