…and here is the reason why the pursued Nate Robinson. I thought that was a bit of a strange signing, but makes more sense now. Now there is a rumor on CNNSI that the Warriors are going after Dwight Howard…wishful thinking, but would anyone even want Curry after 3 consecutive ankle rolls? Great player….hope he heals up before the let him back on the court.

I do find it funny that they attach a picture of him being taped up in a Team USA uniform, and it’s his Left ankle that they are taping. His Right ankle is the bad one. Find a better/current picture.

I’ve said it since he was in college, he’s too small to be playing in the NBA, the guy just looks like he was born premature. Too bad for him there is no designated shooter in the NBA.

What did the team and trainers think would happen? It was stupid of them to think that nothing would happen considering last years and this years recurring ankle injury results.

The team, as constructed, would not do much this year anyway. I agree with EvanZ that tanking the season like the Colts make sense. But I doubt coach Jackson will allow them to be bottom dwellers on purpose. But if they keep sending Curry out there with the hope of a different result…Curry’s long-term career could be in jeapordy and team management is just insane.

I say send him to where ARod went to for those special injections because surgery will not fix this ankle. It’s a short season so just sit him all year and get it fixed.

I keep saying it. There is really a silver lining here. Let Curry sit out the entire season. GSW is going nowhere but mid- to late lottery with Curry in the lineup (even a sub-100% Curry). But if they get the 8-12 lottery spot, they have to give it to the Jazz. This is not the year to lose a top lottery pick. If Curry sits the season, the Warriors will effectively tank, and retain a top 7 pick. Heck they might be so bad without Curry they turn it into a top 5 pick and have a shot at acquiring a real star in a loaded draft.
