I agree. People are using other situations Westphal has had with other players as a comparison…thats not really fair here. Westphal has had issues with star players and in the NBA star players are more important than the coach. Cousins is not by any stretch a star player…. he is barely a role player. The problem is I just dont know what they could get for Cousins. If I were them I would call Charlotte and try to work Jordan (everyone else has) for D.J. Augustine and a semi protected 1st round pick. The Bobcats need size and the Kings need someone to settle down the offense a little.

Cousins is an immature idiot who does not realize how great a life he has–even losing on an NBA team for a few million a year sounds ok to me.There over 25 million unemployed people who would likely agree with me. Even if Westphal is a lousy coach, it is not his job to get him fired, losing will take care of that. Cousins needs to apologize and try to get back in the lineup and bide his time—if he is lucky ,they will get a new coach and if he is unlucky , they will be trade him to Toronto or some other purgatory .

What is it about this kid that makes him feel entitled to act however he likes? Has any effort been put forth to help this kid learn to be more of a professional, because his parents surely didn’t instill such values in him. It’s as if his athletic accomplishments make up for the lack of quality of his character, and he sees nothing wrong with it whatsoever…..sad.

So Westphal is as much to blame as this yo-yo? Nonsense. There’s no equivalency here. The kid is a jerk and needs to grow up and start to earn his paycheck. Westphal’s job is to coach.
