Wait, then how does the Howard/Adidas rumor make sense? If Rose is going to be the international face of your company, then having him win multiple titles while beating the competition top guys in Kobe and the Heat would only strengthen your brand. Titles mean more international exposure which would increase sales. If Rose beats LeBron to the title then he becomes the biggest name in basketball.

I love D Rose as a player, he is my favorite but athletes are not role models. its not their job, its the parents job. We truly don’t know a person other than what wee see. People thought Tiger Woods was a role model

if he knew he was inking a $250 million dollar deal with Adidas, he’s a selfish idiot for taking a max-contract from the Bulls. what’s the difference between $350 million and $300 million, if it means signing Dwight Howard or not signing D12.

Wow.
That is $45 million a year for the next 5 years between his Bulls contract and the Adidas money.
From Rookie of the Year to NBA All Star to MVP and now a ton of cash and a chance to win a championship ring.
Not bad for a 23 year old.
