I don’t expect much from Baron, but I’m not sure I agree with the reasoning here.
Yes the Clippers and Cavs just did whatever they could to get rid of him. But did they do this because they wanted to get rid of Baron Davis, or because they wanted to get rid of Baron Davis’ salary? I don’t remember him ever having character or clubhouse issues.
I don’t think he’ll be great, I think he’ll be okay for a while, and then injured, and then benched, and possibly cut. But I don’t think he’ll be a problem either.
